Lecouc's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Turdus Muicus - A Shot of Inspiration. pearl has chosen yes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lecouc throws a right hand that pearl ducks under and follows up with a left that pearl also avoids with ease.
Lecouc tries to close the distance and clinch up but pearl swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lecouc tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but pearl paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lecouc moves in looking to clinch but pearl pushes him off.
Alex Lecouc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
pearl throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lecouc counters with a nice uppercut.
pearl connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lecouc is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lecouc fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

pearl tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lecouc was well out of range. Poor timing from pearl.
pearl throws a combination. Lecouc tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
pearl lands a right hook to the body.
pearl uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lecouc.
pearl throws a series of strikes that have Lecouc backpedaling.

pearl dips to his left and cracks Lecouc with an uppercut!

Lecouc bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Oh Lecouc is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. pearl engages and cracks Lecouc with a massive lead left hook - Lecouc tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! pearl is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
