Van Guyen gets a takedown into half guard.

Van Guyen wants to work for an arm triangle but Senior is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Senior has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Van Guyen is working away from the top position though.

Van Guyen is working for a kimura but Senior is defending it quite comfortably.
Senior wants to control but Van Guyen is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Van Guyen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Van Guyen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
