Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Trevally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Vai Cavalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevally comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. Vai Cavalo has chosen Tropa de Elite as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vai Cavalo shoots in looking for a takedown. Trevally tries to sprawl out of it but Vai Cavalo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trevally manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Trevally drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vai Cavalo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Vai Cavalo has hold of one of Trevally's legs. Trevally is fighting the takedown attempt but Vai Cavalo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trevally had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vai Cavalo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Trevally Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vai Cavalo's back instead.

Vai Cavalo is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Trevally off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
