PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Crixus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Milovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crixus has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crixus shoots for a takedown but Milovic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Crixus is breathing heavily.
Crixus takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Crixus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Milovic shoots and misses

and Crixus counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Crixus wants to take a breather but Milovic is having none of it.
Milovic wants to get back to full guard.
Milovic slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Milovic lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Crixus!
Milovic cracks Crixus with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Milovic wants to finish this one by submission but Crixus is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Milovic.
Crixus is trying to escape the mount.
Milovic has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Crixus's face.
Milovic scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Crixus?
Crixus swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Milovic has hold of Crixus's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Crixus manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Milovic lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Crixus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Milovic on the ground.
Milovic scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Milovic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Crixus is bucking up trying to escape but Milovic cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Milovic lands a nice shot to the head.
Oh Crixus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big strike lands for Milovic! That's really hurt Crixus and he's turned his back - Milovic keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Milovic jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
