Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josefski Slabadavski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samoa Rome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rome comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Samoan Death kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Samoa Rome will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josefski Slabadavski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Samoa Rome!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slabadavski avoids the body shot from Rome.
Rome scores with a shot to the body.
Rome swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Slabadavski drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rome had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Slabadavski defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rome throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Rome is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slabadavski defends well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rome working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slabadavski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slabadavski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Slabadavski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rome has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slabadavski has managed to get both his arms back between Rome's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rome takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
