Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darin Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakamora Yenseki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yenseki has chosen Sick Puppies-Youre going down as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darin Blood!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nakamora Yenseki!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yenseki. That did some damage!
Yenseki moves out of range of the body kick from Blood.
Blood steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yenseki.

Yenseki is not content to let Blood control the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Blood is trying to ground and pound but Yenseki uses the momentary lack of control by Blood to regain half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Blood thows a body shot but no joy.
Yenseki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Blood swings for the body but Yenseki moves out of range.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Blood drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yenseki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Blood has Yenseki in his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Darin Blood will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Yenseki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blood has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blood and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Blood sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Yenseki is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That was a close round but Darin Blood did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Blood is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Yenseki is not content to let Blood control the position.
Blood working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Blood escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yenseki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
