Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miko Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Shrek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shrek has chosen Here Comes The Pain as his entrance music. Frank Shrek looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shrek has managed to clinch.

Volkov has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Shrek is trying to keep an underhook but Volkov manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Shrek is looking for a sweep. Volkov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Volkov is looking to take a break and control but Shrek is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Volkov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Shrek sees it coming and defends easily.
Volkov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Volkov stands up over Shrek, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by Shrek or perhaps it was just good defense by Volkov which made him look bad.

Shrek manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Volkov manages to get himself to full guard.
Volkov wants to get back to his feet but Shrek is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

and Shrek counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Volkov's guard now.
Shrek slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Volkov is looking to stand back up but Shrek counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Volkov.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Volkov is looking to escape.
Shrek is trying to control the action in half guard but Volkov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Volkov takes the fight into the clinch.
Volkov tries to score a body lock takedown but Shrek shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Shrek is trying to force a seperation but Volkov has the dominant position.
Volkov is trying to drag Shrek to the mat but Shrek just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Volkov has Shrek pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Shrek manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Shrek wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

You can see the frustration on Volkov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
