Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tyler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wrestling Machine. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yates wants to clinch.
Yates tries to close the distance and clinch but Tyler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yates takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tyler is defended easily by Yates.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Yates tries to clinch but Tyler is having none of it.

Tyler clinches up with Yates and pushes him back against the cage.

Yates really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Yates looks like he's trying to stand up.
Tyler uses his free foot to push down on Yates's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Yates.
Tyler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yates is looking to escape.

Tyler is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yates can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The referee warns Yates that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
