And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Lombardi misses.
Bresnar shoots in but no luck this time.
Danga de danga de dang - Bresnar scores with a four punch combination!
Lombardi just misses with a punch to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bresnar.
Lombardi throws a left and a right that both miss

and Bresnar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bresnar is looking to stand up but Lombardi won't let him.
Bresnar won't allow Lombardi to sweep him here.

Bresnar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lombardi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lombardi has Bresnar pulled in close to control his posture.
Bresnar trying to control but Lombardi is working from the bottom.
Bresnar with a flurry of punches that miss.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bresnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lombardi throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Lock Bresnar has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bresnar.
Frankie Lombardi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lock Bresnar.
Bresnar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Frankie Lombardi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lombardi lands with a slapping head kick.
Bresnar tries to clinch up.
Bresnar closes the distance and clinches up with Lombardi, looking for a takedown. Bresnar pushes Lombardi against the cage but Lombardi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That has opened up Lock Bresnar's cut even more.
Lombardi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lombardi connects with a stiff jab that staggers Bresnar - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
