Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoger Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kari Peippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoger Gracie looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peippo lands with an overhand left.
Peippo just misses with a punch to the body.
Peippo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Peippo lands with a hook. Gracie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Peippo scores with a hook to the body. Gracie takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gracie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kari Peippo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peippo thows a body shot but no joy.
Peippo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Peippo throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Peippo throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Gracie tumbling to the canvas!

It looks like Hoger Gracie has been cut.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Peippo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peippo thows a big elbow that misses.
Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.

Peippo tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.
Peippo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Peippo lands some shots froms side control.
Peippo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Peippo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gracie has escaped the position, nice work there.

Gracie trying to remain calm as Peippo controls from the top position.
Gracie takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Peippo tries to move to full mount but Gracie actually manages to regain half guard.
Peippo is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Peippo is looking for a kimura here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peippo's waist but Peippo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Peippo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Some wild striking there from Peippo.
Peippo fails to land with a series of punches.
Good exchange - Peippo coming out on top.
Peippo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Peippo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kari Peippo seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Peippo scores with a one two! Gracie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Peippo. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.

Peippo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Peippo lands a slapping body shot.
Peippo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Peippo dances in with a quick combination. Gracie is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Peippo snaps Gracie's head back. Gracie stumbles backwards against the cage. Peippo steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Gracie's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Gracie just didn't come prepared.
