Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pietro Lombardi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Hogan!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Jim Hogan has been cut.
Lombardi gets a powerful takedown and that's hurt Hogan.
Hogan is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lombardi with the ground and pound but Hogan regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Hogan is still in real trouble! Can Lombardi finish him?
Lombardi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hogan's head.
Hogan seems to have recovered his senses.
Hogan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lombardi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Lombardi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Lombardi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hogan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Hogan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lombardi scores with a couple of nice shots.
Hogan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lombardi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lombardi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hogan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hogan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lombardi moves into full mount! Hogan won't be happy about that!
Lombardi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
A nice elbow there by Lombardi.
That has opened up Jim Hogan's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jim Hogan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Pietro Lombardi!
