Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eaton Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chemical Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox comes to the cage accompanied by Hatebreed - Destroy Everything. Ali has chosen Death to HBCC as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali tried to score with a low kick but Cox checks it.
Ali jabs Cox right on the nose. Cox blinks but takes it well.
Cox just misses with a punch to the body.

Ali shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cox's guard.

Cox looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ali looking to sit in guard and control but Cox gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ali is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cox throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ali.
Cox throws a solid leg kick but Ali takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cox.

Ali is looking to take a break and control but Cox is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cox is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cox has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ali can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ali stays in close to Cox's body and controls the position.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ali connects with a nice short shot to Cox's temple.
Cox is refusing to be controlled, as Ali sits in half guard.
Ali prevents Cox from improving his position.
Ali not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Ali is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ali wants to advance to full mount but Cox doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Cox is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ali is aware though and is defending well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ali misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ali throws a low kick, looking for Cox's leg but Cox calmly moves out of range.

Ali scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Cox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ali was well out of range. Poor timing from Cox.

Cox avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ali fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cox looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Cox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ali moves away.

Ali scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ali wants to control but Cox is keeping him busy.

Well Ali has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
