Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between ray leonards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Power's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
leonards wants to clinch up but Power keeps it at a distance.
leonards tries to clinch but Power is having none of it.

Power shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
leonards tries to get to full guard but Power has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power wants to stand up but leonards has a hold of him and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Power decides to stand and escape the position.

leonards keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Power decides to stand up, so the ref orders leonards to his feet.

leonards shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Power is trying to defend but leonards finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

leonards is taking a breather. Power says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Power is looking for a sweep. leonards is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
leonards is keen to just control but Power is a slippery customer.
leonards seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
leonards seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Power does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

leonards seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
leonards thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Power's head.
leonards wants to take a breather but Power is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Power is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on leonards's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Ground and pound from leonards.
leonards wants to pass the guard but Power is defending well.
leonards is nestled in close to Power, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

leonards is working for a kimura but Power is defending it quite comfortably.
Power is refusing to be controlled, as leonards sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that ray leonards will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Power moves into the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Power.
leonards tries for a takedown but Power manages to get underhooks.
Power manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
leonards goes for a takedown attempt but Power pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Power shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Power tries to stand and escape but leonards is controlling the position.

Power not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Power is looking to stall here but leonards recovers full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
leonards wants to get back to his feet but Power is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

leonards has his foot on Power's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Power works his way back into a safe position though.

Power has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of leonards is proving hard to escape from.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now leonards is on top in guard.
leonards wants to pass the guard but Power is keeping the position.
leonards loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
leonards advances to half guard.

Power is defending against the submission attempts here by leonards.
leonards is looking to stall here but Power recovers full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
leonards with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Randy Power will probably get the nod - 10:9.

and Power counters with a shoot takedown. leonards fights it but they end up in guard.

leonards looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Power has picked leonards up and slammed him! leonards can't keep hold of the triangle and Power manages to pass to side control!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
leonards is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Power has just dragged him back down to the mat.
leonards is looking for a sweep.
Power wants to control but leonards is keeping him busy.

leonards tries to buck Power off but Power is having none of it.

Power decides to stand back up. Power steps back and let's leonards get back to his feet.

Randy Power comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Power has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
