Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Halgrun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leather Slammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slammer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Slammer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Halgrun looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Slammer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Halgrun knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Halgrun could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Halgrun tries to buck Slammer off but Slammer is having none of it.

Slammer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Slammer dives in and grabs Halgrun's left leg, looking for a takedown. Halgrun pushes down on Slammer's head and hops out.
Halgrun doesn't manage to clinch there - Slammer circles away.

Slammer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Magnus Halgrun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leather Slammer.
Halgrun shoots in looking for a takedown. Slammer tries to sprawl out of it but Halgrun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slammer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

You get the feeling that Halgrun really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Slammer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Halgrun has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slammer has managed to get both his arms back between Halgrun's legs - danger averted.

Slammer wants to get up but he can't break Halgrun's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

A nice leg kick lands there from Halgrun.

Halgrun gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Halgrun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Halgrun shoots for a double leg takedown but Slammer sprawls well. He's pushed Halgrun's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
