Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Losev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeMarcus Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Losev can do anything to dispel that myth.

Losev has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Liddell's face.

A punch lands to the side of Losev 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Liddell connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

and Liddell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Losev takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Liddell stalks Losev and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Losev's face. Losev staggers backwards, shaken.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hunter Losev will probably get the nod.

I think Liddell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
