Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mariano Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Farris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Farris has chosen Im cool Im bad as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Farris but Farris pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Farris lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Farris lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Farris avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Castro tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Castro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Farris uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Farris connects with a looping right hand.
Castro doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Castro has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mariano Castro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Castro needs to keep his hands up - Farris had a free shot at his head there.
Castro shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Farris comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Farris motions for Castro to come forward. Farris throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Castro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Farris works over Castro's head and body with a nice combination.
Farris lands a glancing blow to the side of Castro's head.
Farris lands with a nice combination. Castro backs away looking to recover.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Castro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Farris as he jumps to the side.

Farris lands a body shot.
Farris lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice shot lands for Farris.
Castro fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Farris stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fight stays on the outside here - Farris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A jab from Farris does it's job there.
Castro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Farris avoids it really well and circles away.
Farris is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Castro had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Farris uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Castro has time to react.
Farris fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Castro on the side of the head.
Farris connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Castro momentarily.
Castro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Farris circles away.
Castro is breathing heavily.
Farris lands with a right hand.
Castro shoots for a takedown but Farris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Farris has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Castro checks a leg kick nicely.
Castro takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Farris lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Farris lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Farris lands with an uppercut that bounces Castro off the cage and back into rage.
Roy Farris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Castro closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Farris swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Castro.
Farris lands a glancing blow to the side of Castro's head.
Castro tries to move into range but Farris moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Castro keeps the fight on the outside.
Castro on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Farris scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Castro is rocked!
Farris ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Farris connects with a jab.
Oh Castro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Farris lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Castro can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Farris and Castro drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Farris.
