The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramon looks to land a right hand but Bush moved out of range.
Ramon misses with a double jab.
Ramon throws an overhand right that lands on Bush's shoulder, as Bush tries to avoid the shot.
Ramon stuffs the takedown attempt from Bush. Bush gets slowly back to his feet.
Ramon misses with a looping right.
Ramon leaves Bush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bush takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ramon slaps away a takedown attempt from Bush, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bush shoots in for a double leg but Ramon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ramon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ramon wants it to stay on the feet.
Bush uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ramon.

The fighters circling - Ramon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bush seems to have got his legs back now.
