The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Demar has Ovrut up against the cage in a clinch.

Demar gets control of Ovrut's arms and successfully pulls guard. Demar will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Ovrut throwing strikes from guard but Demar blocks nicely.
Demar wants to sweep here but Ovrut controlling him for the moment.

Demar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ovrut doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ovrut manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Demar is pulling down on Ovrut's head to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Demar is on top in guard.

Demar passes Ovrut's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ovrut knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Demar on the ground.

Demar is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ovrut sees it coming and defends easily.

Demar maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ovrut could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Demar has cracked it and Ovrut is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Demar!
