Homstad's entrance music is Chainsaw Gutsfuck - Mayhem. A fine choice. Maru is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: N.I.B - Black Sabbath. Rulav Homstad has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Homstad!
Homstad plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Maru fails with a takedown attempt.
Maru shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Homstad sprawls well. Homstad wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maru gets slowly back to his feet.
Homstad lands with a slapping head kick.
Homstad throws a head kick that Maru semi-blocks.

It looks like Riki Maru has been cut.
Riki Maru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Homstad lands the left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maru shoots in but no luck this time.
Rulav Homstad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Riki Maru.
Maru wants to clinch.
Maru takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Maru is trying desperately to land a takedown but Homstad is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Maru.
Homstad fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Maru.
Maru looks gassed!
Maru shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Homstad pinned against the cage. Homstad gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Homstad throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nice sprawl there from Homstad as Maru shoots in.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Homstad throws a leg kick which misses Maru's front leg but catches the back leg as Maru tries to avoid it.
Homstad dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Maru. That did some damage!
Good leg kick by Homstad there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Homstad throws a quick inside leg kick.
Homstad throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Maru's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Homstad moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

That has opened up Riki Maru's cut even more.
A left and a right from Homstad both land. Nice combination.
Homstad throws a series of punches but Maru moves out of range.

The cut above Riki Maru's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A slapping leg kick lands for Homstad.
Homstad goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Maru chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Homstad can pounce on him.
Homstad scores with a head kick.

Riki Maru's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Homstad throws a one two combo.

Maru is rocked!
Homstad seems to be stalking Maru here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Maru drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
