The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRriot Jr swats away the attempt to clinch by Durden.
Horrible takedown by Durden or perhaps it was just good defense by McRriot Jr which made him look bad.
Durden fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McRriot Jr.
McRriot Jr bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Durden lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

McRriot Jr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Durden.
Durden shoots in looking for a takedown. McRriot Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Durden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McRriot Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Durden throws a sloppy head kick and McRriot Jr moves out of range easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McRriot Jr managing to block the knees to the body from Durden.
McRriot Jr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Durden fights it off and pushes away nicely.

McRriot Jr lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Durden darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
McRriot Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McRriot Jr wants to get back to his feet.
Durden wants to control but McRriot Jr is keeping him busy.

Durden is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
McRriot Jr is looking for a sweep. Durden is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Durden seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McRriot Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McRriot Jr scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Durden manages to mount him!

A close round but Max McRriot Jr will probably get the nod.

Durden changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McRriot Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Durden has got one arm under McRriot Jr's chin. This could be trouble... McRriot Jr trying to control the other hand but Durden gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, McRriot Jr has tapped out! The fight is over!
