The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriguez Jr has closed the distance and engaged Campos in a clinch.
Rodriguez Jr looking to slow down the pace here.
Campos is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rodriguez Jr gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Rodriguez Jr tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Rodriguez Jr has Campos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Campos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Rodriguez Jr tightens his grip and picks Campos up, before dumping him to the ground. Campos manages to land in guard.
Rodriguez Jr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Campos controls Rodriguez Jr momentarily but Rodriguez Jr frees himself.

Campos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rodriguez Jr defends well.
Rodriguez Jr throws a big right hand that misses.

Campos is looking to sinch up a triangle. Rodriguez Jr throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Campos's body to avoid the submission. Campos has instead reached around Rodriguez Jr's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Campos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
