Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Milo Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Hartin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milo Phillips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Hartin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartin shoots in looking for a takedown. Phillips tries to sprawl out of it but Hartin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Phillips manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hartin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Phillips closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hartin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Phillips is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hartin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hartin is not content to let Phillips control the position.
Phillips has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hartin!

Phillips has hold of Hartin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hartin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Phillips jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hartin is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hartin and Phillips has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Phillips thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Phillips wants to control but Hartin is keeping him busy.
Phillips tries to advance to mount but Hartin denies him.

Phillips has an Americana. Hartin didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Phillips is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Phillips hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
