Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie TheRhino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Jax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jax has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

TheRhino has hold of Jax's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jax manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

TheRhino has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jax has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes TheRhino off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as TheRhino checks a leg kick.
TheRhino throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jax's waist but Jax gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing TheRhino off to one side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jax connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jax rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but TheRhino moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jax bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
TheRhino throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jax counters with a nice low kick that buckles TheRhino's knee momentarily.

TheRhino takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
TheRhino takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

I would just about give that final round to Robbie Jax.
I think Jax has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
