Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Kazansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazansky has chosen Danger Zone as his entrance music. Billy Gray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Gray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Kazansky!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gray has managed to clinch.
Kazansky lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Kazansky ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kazansky no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kazansky is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gray is aware though and is defending well.
Gray wants to control from the top but Kazansky keeps moving.

Kazansky is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gray defends well.

Kazansky has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kazansky is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gray will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kazansky trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Kazansky is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kazansky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gray is looking to stand up but Kazansky won't let him.
Gray trying to control but Kazansky is working from the bottom.
Gray throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Kazansky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kazansky looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kazansky looks gassed!

Kazansky is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gray content to stall in guard here.
Kazansky trying to keep a closed guard but Gray is proving a slippery customer.
Gray tries to stand but Kazansky is controlling from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kazansky has a closed guard, preventing Gray from standing up.

Gray avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gray working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Kazansky dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kazansky is defended easily by Gray.
Tom Kazansky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gray connects with a right hand. Kazansky shakes it off.
Gray lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Gray connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kazansky tumbling to the canvas! Gray pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kazansky was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Billy Gray!
