Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paha Aasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neo Nova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aasi comes to the cage accompanied by Aphrodite & Mickey Finn - Bad Ass. Neo Nova will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aasi dodges the punch combination from Nova.
Aasi moves out of range as Nova strikes.
A jab from Aasi misses.
Nova scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Aasi throws a series of punches but Nova avoids them all with ease.
Aasi throws an overhand right that lands on Nova's shoulder, as Nova tries to avoid the shot.
Nova gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Aasi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nova is keeping the position for now.
Aasi drops back looking for a leg! Nova is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nova manages to kick Aasi off! Aasi jumps back into Nova's guard.
Nova working for a triangle but Aasi defends it easily.
Aasi works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Nova is trying to get back to full guard.
Nova is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Aasi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aasi wants to work for an arm triangle but Nova is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nova wants to improve his position but Aasi is controlling well.
Aasi moves nicely into side control.
Aasi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nova is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Nova manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nova is defending against the submission attempts here by Aasi.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aasi has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nova defend it? Aasi steps over the head and cranks it - Nova is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Aasi!
