The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Syrja as Lesnar shoots in.

Syrja feints and as Lesnar raises his hands in defense, Syrja changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lesnar is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lesnar keeping full guard, as Syrja tries to pass.
Lesnar wants to hit a switch here but Syrja passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Lesnar there!

Syrja is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lesnar can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Syrja knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lesnar on the ground.

Lesnar tries to get to full guard but Syrja has control of the leg.

Syrja looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lesnar moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Syrja is sitting in close to Lesnar's body. Lesnar has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Syrja is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Syrja is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lesnar.
