Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samir Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyson griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). tyson griffin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samir Kahric!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, tyson griffin!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahric fails in his attempt to clinch.
griffin checks a low kick from Kahric.
griffin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kahric avoids the body shot from griffin.
griffin tries to bum rush Kahric with a series of wild strikes but Kahric uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
griffin misses with a body shot.
Kahric is looking to clinch but griffin is avoiding it.
griffin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kahric.
griffin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Samir Kahric has been cut.
Kahric shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has griffin pinned against the cage. griffin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
griffin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
griffin looks to score with a jab to the body but Kahric is just out of range.
griffin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kahric.
Kahric avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kahric does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kahric throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
griffin takes a swing at Kahric's ribcage but misses.
griffin punishes Kahric's body with a nice straight punch.
Kahric uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by griffin.
griffin tests Kahric's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kahric takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
griffin misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kahric counters with a nice low kick that buckles griffin's knee momentarily.
griffin throws a hook but Kahric avoids it easily.
tyson griffin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
griffin scores with the left hand. Kahric knows he should have avoided that one.
griffin lands a jab to the head.
Kahric is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
griffin throws an uppercut from hell that sends Kahric clean off his feet! He's out cold! griffin stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
