The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Machida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it.
Machida moves out of range of the strikes.
Anderson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Anderson closes the distance and pushes Machida back into the cage.

Anderson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Machida clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
