Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adaephon Delat!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ton Lim!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delat throws a head kick but Lim moves out of range.
Delat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Delat lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lim has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lim and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Lim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A head kick misses from Lim.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lim. Delat does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lim lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Delat has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lim.
Delat is breathing heavily.
A shot to the liver by Lim. Beautiful body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lim slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Adaephon Delat has been cut.
Lim throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nice body punch from Lim.

A slapping leg kick lands for Lim.
Lim lands a right hook to the body.
Nice jab there from Lim.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lim.
Adaephon Delat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Delat takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Delat takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lim pivots, looking for a leg kick but Delat is out of range and Lim settles back down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lim sizes up Delat with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Lim misses with a low kick as Delat jumps back.
Lim is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Delat rather than just go for the knockout.
Lim connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Lim tries to land a front kick but Delat steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lim lands with a nice body punch.
Lim misses with a low kick.
Lim darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Delat is rocked!
Lim sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Delat's defenses. It connects perfectly with Delat's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ton Lim! Ton Lim retains his middleweight title!
