Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grapler Grapling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Resnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock Resnar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grapler Grapling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Resnar!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Resnar throws a right hand that Grapling ducks under and follows up with a left that Grapling also avoids with ease.
Resnar missing with a left hand there. Grapling was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Resnar lands a right hook to the body.
Resnar scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


It looks like Grapler Grapling has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Grapling ducks straight into an uppercut from Resnar and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Grapling manages to regain guard straight away.

Grapling could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Grapling might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Grapling drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Resnar manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Grapling has Resnar in his guard.

Resnar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grapling has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Resnar has managed to get both his arms back between Grapling's legs - danger averted.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Resnar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Grapling is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Resnar drops Grapling with a right and a left! Resnar comes rushing in but Grapling regains his composure and manages to keep Resnar in guard.

Grapling is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Resnar can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Grapling has control of Resnar's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Resnar regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Resnar sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Grapling moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Brock Resnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well Resnar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
