The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Yamamoto.
Rua throws a shot to the body.
Yamamoto shoots in for a takedown but Rua shows good takedown defense.
Rua keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Rua slaps away a takedown attempt from Yamamoto, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Yamamoto shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rua pinned against the cage. Rua gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Rua lands a left and a right that send Yamamoto crashing to the mat, dazed. Rua thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
