Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Bob!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins shoots for a double leg takedown but Bob sprawls well. He's pushed Jenkins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bob throws a series of punches but Jenkins avoids them all with ease.
Bob leaves Jenkins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jenkins ducks under a wild hook from Bob.

Bob feints and then cracks Jenkins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jenkins down.

Jenkins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jenkins misses with a takedown attempt - Bob sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bob does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jenkins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jenkins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jenkins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bob knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
