Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johny Pudzian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Frary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pudzian's entrance music is Toony - Los (Feat. Pih & Fabuła). A fine choice. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Johny Pudzian! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Frary! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frary shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pudzian napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pudzian sneaks back into half guard. Frary wants to take a breather but Pudzian is having none of it. Frary throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Frary throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Frary looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Frary sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pudzian defending well though. Frary scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Frary slips a nice elbow through Pudzian's hands, connecting with Pudzian's forehead. Pudzian gets full guard. Frary postures up in Pudzian's guard and throws a big left but Pudzian blocks it. Frary prevents Pudzian from getting back to his feet. Pudzian keeping moving, preventing Frary from controlling successfully. Frary stands up and waves to Pudzian to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frary keeps the fight on the outside. Pudzian shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Frary moves into the clinch. Pudzian avoids a wild elbow strike from Frary. Pudzian tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Frary prevents a body shot from Pudzian. Pudzian is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Frary pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johny Pudzian. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pudzian has had enough of the clinch but Frary keeps him there for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pudzian wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Frary pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pudzian tries to clinch but Frary moves away and Frary counters with a nice double leg into guard. Frary working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Pudzian working for a triangle but Frary defends it easily.
Pudzian is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Frary stands up over Pudzian, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Frary working some strikes from top position. Frary trying to control but Pudzian is working from the bottom. Pudzian will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frary scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Pudzian is rocked! Pudzian is breathing heavily. Frary decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Pudzian tries for a takedown but Frary circles away easily and Frary counters with a shoot takedown. Pudzian fights it but they end up in guard. Pudzian is working an open guard so Frary takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Frary shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Frary scoring with strikes to the body and head. Oh Pudzian is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Pudzian has hold of Frary's hands but Frary slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Frary is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pudzian has managed to free his arm - good work. Frary scores with a big shot! Pudzian's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Pudzian! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Frary!
