The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George loads up on a big right hand but Holnick slips the punch.
George on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Holnick. Holnick obviously looking to wear him down.
Holnick scoring well with a low kick there.
Holnick throws a head kick that misses.
George throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Holnick lands a nice looking body kick.
Holnick throws a head kick that half lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
George lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Holnick circles away quickly and effectively.

George will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Holnick postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
George tries to land a sweep but no joy.

George manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

George goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Holnick turns into him and now he's in George's guard.
Holnick wants to control from the top but George keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Holnick seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well Holnick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
