Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sun Tzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chai Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sun Tzu has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tzu lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tzu.
Do shoots in looking for a takedown. Tzu tries to sprawl out of it but Do keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tzu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tzu doesn't manage to clinch there - Do circles away.
Do shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tzu defends it nicely.
Tzu throws a right and a left that both miss.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tzu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Do circles away quickly and effectively.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tzu misses with a jab, cross combination.

Do tries to keep at a distance but Tzu has taken the fight into the clinch.

Tzu is just content to waste time from the top position. Do takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Do is breathing heavily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tzu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Do utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Do avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Tzu.
Do tries to buck Tzu off but Tzu is having none of it.
Tzu throws a strike aimed at the side of Do's head but Do avoids it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Do with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Tzu to counter with a crisp jab.

Sun Tzu dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Do is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tzu.

Tzu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Tzu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Do is trying desperately to land a takedown but Tzu is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Do.

Sun Tzu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Tzu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tzu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well Tzu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
