Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darren Fogerty!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fogerty avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fogerty closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fogerty's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fogerty's back!

Silva is looking to control Fogerty but Fogerty is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Fogerty rolls, trying to escape but Silva keeps control of the position.
Silva throwing sloppy strikes.
Fogerty covering up well and avoiding damage.
I really don't envy Fogerty right now.
Silva working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Fogerty is doing well to defend. Silva seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Fogerty is forced to tap and this one is over!
