The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones looks to land a combination but Rodriquez avoids it well.
jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rodriquez.
jones tries to clinch but Rodriquez moves out of range.
jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rodriquez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rodriquez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
jones throws a hook but Rodriquez avoids it easily.

and Rodriquez finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
jordan jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Rodriquez counters with a nice double leg into side control. jones won't be happy with that.

Rodriquez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rodriquez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rodriquez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rodriquez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
