Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ran Paull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ran Paull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paull changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Flint looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Paull has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Flint gets the takedown into side control.
Flint wants to control but Paull is keeping him busy.
Paull might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Paull tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Flint swings around for an armbar but Paull sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Flint's guard.
Flint has momentary wrist control but Paull slips an elbow through the middle.

Paull is trying to control. Flint wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Paull is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Paull is stalling here. Flint is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Paull seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Flint has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Flint is trying to get an arm triangle but Paull is defending well.
Flint wants to control for a moment but Paull uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Flint really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paull. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Paull moves out of range as Flint throws a body kick.
Paull gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Flint counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Flint uses his free foot to push down on Paull's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Paull.
Flint can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Paull is looking to escape.

Paull is breathing heavily.
Flint postures up.
Flint must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Flint wants to stand but Paull has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Paull really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Paull pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paull with shots to the head and body - Flint looks very uncomfortable down there.
Flint is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Paull swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Flint is now in Paull's guard. A big mistake from Paull there, giving up the dominant position!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Flint is looking to take a break and control but Paull is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Flint wants to take a breather but Paull manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Flint.

Larry Flint showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Paull tries to keep at a distance but Flint has taken the fight into the clinch.

Flint has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Paull uses from the top position.
Paull passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.

Paull digs a good hook to Flint's body.

Flint clinches up with Paull and pushes him back against the cage.

Paull jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Flint walks away with a smile on his face. Paull gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Flint gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Paull is working Flint over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Flint is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Paull tries to roll over but Flint keeps him under control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Flint scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Flint decides to stand up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Flint looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Flint is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Paull is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Flint has had enough of the clinch but Paull keeps him there for the moment.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Flint can do anything to dispel that myth.

Paull is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Flint has managed to escape the submission attempt.

I would just about give that final round to Larry Flint.
