The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Quaritch displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from George.
Quaritch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A punch combination from George misses.
George throws a right and a left that both miss.
Quaritch misses with a head kick.
George rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quaritch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Quaritch thumps George with a low kick.
Quaritch takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
George misses with a two punch combination.
George throws a body punch but Quaritch moves out of range.
George shoots in for a double leg but Quaritch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
George throws the left hand but Quaritch avoids the punch easily.
Quaritch lands a big head kick that sends George tumbling to the mat! Quaritch takes a step backwards and waves George back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Edwardson George has been cut.
George is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quaritch lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as George crumples to the floor! Quaritch milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
