Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yumi Goro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigoriy Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yumi Goro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Grigoriy Rasputin!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin tries to clinch there but Goro circles away.
Goro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Goro misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rasputin drives through and clinches with Goro against the cage.
Goro blocks an uppercut.
Rasputin misses with an elbow over the top.
Rasputin gets control of Goro's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rasputin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goro is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rasputin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rasputin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Goro's guard.
Rasputin pushing down on Goro's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Rasputin wants to control but Goro is keeping him busy.
Goro tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Rasputin manages to move to mount!
Rasputin trying to control but Goro is having none of it.
Goro can't escape the position.

Rasputin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Goro is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Rasputin with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Rasputin wants to control but instead Goro manages to regain half guard.
Rasputin content to control rather than advance.
Goro tries to roll over but Rasputin keeps him under control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rasputin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Grigoriy Rasputin.
Goro misses with a takedown attempt - Rasputin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rasputin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goro's waist but Goro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rasputin off to one side.
Goro scores with a sloppy right hand. Rasputin should have avoided that one.
Rasputin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Goro lands a jab.
Goro connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rasputin. Rasputin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Goro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Goro misses with a two punch combination.
Rasputin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rasputin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Goro closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Goro is looking to take a break and control but Rasputin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rasputin manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Goro controlling the action here.
Rasputin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Goro seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Goro with the ground and pound but Rasputin uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Goro works over Rasputin with some ground and pound from guard.
Rasputin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Goro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rasputin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Goro throwing strikes but missing.
Rasputin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Goro's guard.

Yumi Goro dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rasputin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Goro finds it's way round the side to connect with Rasputin's head.
Goro looks to land a combination but Rasputin avoids it well.
Goro clinches up with Rasputin and pushes him back against the cage.
Goro tries to circle away but Rasputin has him pinned against the cage.
Rasputin tries a knee to the head but Goro blocks it.
Goro takes a knee to the side of the body.
Goro lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rasputin backwards.
Goro tries to break free but Rasputin pushes him back against the cage.
Rasputin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Goro avoids it.
Rasputin tries a knee to the head but Goro blocks it.
Rasputin tries to land knees in the clinch but Goro avoids the damage to the body.
Goro turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Goro manages to end up in side control.
Rasputin is not content to let Goro control the position.
Goro misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Rasputin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Goro cracks Rasputin with a big elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rasputin sneaks back into half guard.
Goro thows a huge punch but Rasputin dodges it nicely.
Goro takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Rasputin regains full guard. Nicely done.
Goro throwing strikes from guard but Rasputin blocks nicely.
Rasputin is pulling down on Goro's head. It's preventing any offense from Goro, at least for the moment.
Rasputin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Goro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Goro is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rasputin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rasputin has escaped and now he's on top!
Rasputin postures up.
Goro lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rasputin!
Rasputin can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Goro goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Rasputin is on top in guard.
Rasputin advances position into side control!
Rasputin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Goro!
Rasputin tries to control but Goro wriggling away.
Goro is desperately trying to improve his position but Rasputin has a good base and remains in mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Goro tries to lock up and control but Rasputin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rasputin controlling his opponent.

Rasputin is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Rasputin extends the arm and Goro is forced to tap!
