Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands a two punch combo.
Jackson throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.

Silva drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jackson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Silva off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Silva wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.

Silva has gone for a leg lock! Jackson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.

Jackson is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Silva has the hooks in. Jackson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Even with his hooks in, Silva manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Jackson is trying to get back to his feet but Silva has full control of the position and if anything, Jackson has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Silva is persistently looking for the submission but Jackson is defending it well.

Silva is not going to allow Jackson to sit and survive in this position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jackson manages to stand up with Silva still on his back. Eventually Silva drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Jackson.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackson sprawls well. Jackson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Jackson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Silva shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd cheers as Jackson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Silva doesn't seem phased though.
Jackson tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson lands with a right that hurts Silva. Silva looks to clinch but Jackson throws a short knee that drops Silva. This one is all over!
