Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khel Gianan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Champagne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gianan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Champagne.
Champagne tries to clinch but Gianan is having none of it.

Gianan pushes Champagne up against the cage in a clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Champagne.
Champagne keeps control of Gianan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Champagne jumps guard.
Champagne is pulling down on Gianan's head. It's preventing any offense from Gianan, at least for the moment.
Champagne is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Champagne lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gianan down.
Gianan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Champagne shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gianan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Champagne is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gianan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Champagne gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gianan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Champagne lets go of the hold and Gianan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
