Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deavon throws a quick inside leg kick.
Deavon missing with a left hand there. Barroni was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Deavon leaves Barroni with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Deavon with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Barroni looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Deavon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Deavon wants it to stay on the feet.

Deavon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barroni circles away quickly and effectively.

Deavon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barroni gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Deavon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Deavon throws a head kick but Barroni moves out of range.
Barroni fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Deavon attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Evan Deavon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barroni tries to score a power double leg takedown but Deavon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barroni somewhat.
Deavon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Barroni drops his hands momentarily and Deavon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Deavon throws a leg kick which misses Barroni's front leg but catches the back leg as Barroni tries to avoid it.

Barroni wants to clinch up but Deavon keeps it at a distance.

Deavon goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Barroni has his takedown stuffed
letting Deavon counter with a right hand.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Deavon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barroni has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barroni and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Deavon, right into the meat.
Barroni misses with a takedown
and Deavon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Deavon rushes Barroni with punches - Barroni moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Barroni goes down! Deavon follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evan Deavon!
