The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doherty feints and then cracks Bones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bones down.
Bones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Doherty throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bones.
It looks like Jon Bones has been cut.
Bones misses with a few strikes there.
Bones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Doherty avoids it really well and circles away.
Doherty misses with a two punch combination.
Doherty avoids the body shot from Bones.
Doherty throws a quick inside leg kick.

Bones digs a good hook to Doherty's body.
