Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braida uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Savage.
Savage jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A chopping leg kick lands by Braida.
Braida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Savage swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Savage thows a body shot but no joy.
Savage avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Savage swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brian Braida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Braida feints and then cracks Savage's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Savage down.
Braida throws a leg kick but Savage sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Braida misses with a takedown attempt - Savage sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Braida closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Braida lands in his opponent's guard.
Braida throws and elbow that misses. Savage uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Braida's guard. Nice move by Savage!
Savage works over Braida with some ground and pound from guard.
Savage pushing down on Braida's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Braida is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Savage scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Savage stops Braida from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Savage in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Braida tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Savage!
