Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Xerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hannibal Lecter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lecter closes the distance and clinches.
Lecter goes for a takedown in the clinch but Xerman prevents it.
Xerman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lecter slows down the pace here.
Xerman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Xerman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Lecter gets control of Xerman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lecter will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Lecter uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Lecter lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lecter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Xerman looks a forlorn figure.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Xerman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lecter takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Xerman is working to get back to half guard.
Xerman is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Xerman is in all sorts of trouble here.
Xerman wants to hold on but Lecter pushes him away.

Lecter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Xerman momentarily.

Lecter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Xerman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lecter is fending him off so far but Xerman persists. Nope, Lecter circles away and we're back to standing.

Lecter rushes Xerman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Xerman is trying to drag Lecter to the mat but Lecter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Xerman wants to improve his position but Lecter is controlling well.
Lecter wants to stand but Xerman has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Xerman wants to control but Lecter is keeping busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lecter is trying to control the action in half guard but Xerman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Xerman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lecter.

Xerman drops Lecter with a beautiful combination! Lecter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Xerman is looking for the KO!

Lecter is rocked!

Hannibal Lecter's cut is getting worse.
Xerman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lecter.
Oh Lecter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Xerman walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lecter drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Xerman swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lecter's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
