Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Kuze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hickson Gwacie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuze kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kenji Kawai's Making of a Cyborg. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gwacie scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kuze sneaks back into half guard.
Kuze looking for subs from the bottom but Gwacie mounts him!
Kuze manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Kuze is trying to escape back to his feet but Gwacie uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Gwacie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kuze is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Gwacie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kuze, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuze wants to get back to his feet.
Kuze is looking to get back to his feet here but Gwacie is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kuze's back.
Kuze tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Kuze is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Gwacie has taken his back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gwacie is cranking Kuze's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Kuze! He's tightened the choke and Kuze is tapping out!
