Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Coller!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Story drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Coller should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Coller tries to bench press Story off him but Story keeps the position.

Story tries for a kimura but Coller is defending well.
Coller is trying to buck Story off.
Story tries to advance to mount but can't.

Story swings around for an armbar but Coller sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Story's guard.
Coller passes into half guard.
Story tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Story moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Story trying to keep a closed guard but Coller is proving a slippery customer.
Story really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Coller is looking to stand up but Story won't let him.
Coller trying to control the position from guard on top but Story is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Story looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Story is trying to control the position but Coller postures up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Coller misses with a takedown

and Story counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Story passes Coller's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Story controlling the action here.
Story seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Coller for as long as he can get away with.
Coller trying to control from the bottom.

Story is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Story wants to pass the guard but Coller is defending well.
Story will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Story prevents Coller from improving his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Story is trying hard to land a takedown here. Coller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Story is breathing heavily.
Coller darts in trying to clinch

so Story counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Teller Story dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Coller looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Story has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Coller has managed to get both his arms back between Story's legs - danger averted.

Story throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Coller escapes and throws Story's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Story tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Coller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Coller stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Coller tries to clinch up

and Story counters with a takedown into side control.
Story has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Story trying to control but Coller is having none of it.
Story seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Coller is holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Coller is working to get back to half guard.

Story goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Coller turns into him and now he's in Story's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Coller trying to control the position from guard on top but Story is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Story is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Coller has his hands clasped together but Story extends an breaks Coller's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Story.
