Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Turbitt!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez misses with the combination.
Martinez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Martinez slaps away a takedown attempt from Turbitt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Martinez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Turbitt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A swing and a miss from Martinez.
Martinez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A combination from Martinez does no damage.
Turbitt looks to land a right hand but Martinez moved out of range.
Martinez scores with a one two! Turbitt had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martinez misses with a series of wild punches.
Martinez is looking to clinch.

Turbitt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Martinez sprawls well initially but Turbitt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Turbitt is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Martinez looks like he's trying to stand up.
Turbitt works his foot free and advances to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Martinez wants to get back to his feet.

Turbitt looking to isolate an arm here. Martinez doesn't see it coming and as Turbitt extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Turbitt!
