Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Lappin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Thunder Lips!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lappin misses with a wild combination.
A jab from Lappin misses.
Lappin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lips closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lappin to the mat! Lappin manages to get full guard.
Lips thows a big elbow that misses.
Lips drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lips jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lappin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lips on the ground.
Lappin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lips postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Lappin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lappin tries to get out of the position.

Lips is working for a guillotine from mount but Lappin frees his head quite easily.
Lappin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lips jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lappin manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Lips is looking for a kimura but Lappin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lips to get the leverage.
Lips looks gassed!
Lappin is trying to stand up here but Lips is controlling him well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lappin makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
A head kick misses from Lappin.
Lips shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lips showed some decent athleticism there.
Lappin is looking to get back to full guard here but Lips has managed to pass to side control instead.
Lappin wants to hold on but Lips pushes him away.
Lips is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lappin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Lips is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lappin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lappin shrugs it off.

Lappin wants to hold on but Lips pushes him away.

Lappin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lips looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lips with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lips looking to control but Lappin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Lips stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Lappin tries for a takedown but Lips sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lips feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lips thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lips is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lips drops back looking for a leg! Lappin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lappin manages to kick Lips off! Lips jumps back into Lappin's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thunder Lips dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lappin throws an overhand right that lands on Lips's shoulder, as Lips tries to avoid the shot.
Lips shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lips looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lips is looking for a kimura but Lappin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lips to get the leverage.
Lips is breathing heavily.
Lips throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Lips prevents Lappin from standing back up.
Lappin pushes Lips off and gets back to his feet.
Lappin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lips counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lappin!
Lips has control of Lappin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lappin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Lappin trying desperately to get to his feet.
Lips throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lappin has his hands clasped together but Lips breaks the hold and Lappin is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Lips!
